Working alongside the Argentine Government and industry partners, Passport Legacy is contributing to program development and preparations for operations ahead of the official launch in Q4 2026.
Paris, 2 October 2026 — Passport Legacy welcomes the Argentine Government’s announcement of its Citizenship by Investment Program, having played an active role in its development as a member of the Argentina Mobility for Investment and Global Opportunity (AMIGO) consortium.
For Passport Legacy, the announcement follows months of work under a government mandate, alongside the Argentine authorities, to help translate their objectives into a tangible framework. The company’s contribution covers policy design, regulatory support, due diligence structures and operational planning, including application procedures, age requirements and provisions for dependents.
These elements will help determine how the program functions in practice: who will qualify, how applications are assessed, and how the process is administered. Passport Legacy has brought its experience in government advisory and investment migration to these questions, supporting the development of clear requirements and rigorous procedures ahead of launch.
Jeffrey Henseler, Founder & Chairman of Passport Legacy, said:
“Helping a government develop a citizenship by investment program carries considerable responsibility. The decisions made at this stage shape how the program will operate, how applicants will be assessed and how the country’s interests will be protected. Our team has been closely involved in that work, and we are proud to have contributed to Argentina’s program alongside our AMIGO partners.”

Asa G20 economy, Argentina brings a distinctive profile to the citizenship by investment sector. Its robust economy, international connections and appeal as a place to live, work and invest give the forthcoming program the potential to attract sizeable international interest.
“Argentina brings considerable ambition to this initiative, supported by the scale and diversity of its economy,” Henseler said. “The opportunity is to build a program that attracts qualified investors and creates lasting value for the country. We commend the Government for its vision and for the commitment it has shown throughout the development process.”
AMIGO’s appointment has brought five specialist firms together around a common mandate. Each has contributed experience from across the investment migration sector, working with the Government on the policy and operational questions involved in establishing a new program.
For Passport Legacy, this collaboration has been an important part of the project. The consortium has provided a forum for exchanging expertise, examining challenges and developing recommendations informed by different markets and professional perspectives.
“The strength of this consortium has been the willingness of all five firms to share their experience and work through the details together,” Henseler added. “Each has brought valuable expertise, and that collective effort has been essential to the work delivered.”
Passport Legacy’s involvement in Argentina builds on its work supporting the development and operation of São Tomé and Príncipe’s Citizenship by Investment Program. That experience has given the company direct insight into the requirements of establishing a program, from its policy foundations to application processing and implementation.
Its contribution to Argentina further develops the company’s government advisory practice, which supports policy and legislative development, due diligence frameworks, operational systems and international stakeholder coordination.
Following the Government’s announcement during Argentina Week in Paris, Passport Legacy joined its AMIGO partners at The Peninsula Paris on 2 October to punctuate the occasion.
With the official launch scheduled for Q4 2026, Passport Legacy looks forward to continuing its work with the Argentine Government and the consortium under AMIGO’s mandate to advise on the program’s ongoing operation.
